The Syrian Garden is part of the Cleveland Cultural Gardens Federation, intended to immortalize the rich and diverse history and culture of Syria and its people throughout the ages. The Garden contains elements from different aspects of Syrian heritage: the Arches of Palmyra, the Amphitheater of Basra, the Syrian Arch and the Arabic Fountain, all decorated with authentic colors.

Manteo, NC
The monument was unveiled in 1984 on the 400th anniversary of the lost colony's voyages. The granite marker sits in the town of Manteo, NC and is engraved with the history of the Roanoke counties and early English colonization.

These identical sculptures were placed in the 12 states along the National Old Trails Road. The monuments were commissioned by NSDAR and created by August Leimbach. They are meant to celebrate the spirit of pioneer women in the United States during westward expansion and to provide a symbol of courage and faith.

A garden dedicated in 1932 to Slovak immigrants, the Slovak Cultural Garden is a terrace that opens onto an oval-shaped lawn and hosts the busts of Slovakian community leaders.
