Wright Brothers Memorial
This memorial is in Kill Devil Hills in the Outerbanks, North Carolina and was created in 1927. It is dedicated towards the Wright Brothers who created and successfully accomplished the first airplane flights. They first achieved flight in 1903 and continued to make large amounts of progress that lead to the technology we have today to fly all across the world. The Wright Brothers then went on to become wealthy businessmen while continuing to increase their knowledge and process towards aviation.
The creation of airplanes and the ability to control them and take them to different destinations in the early 1900's.
There is a large stone tower on top of a hill that has the Wright brothers names inscribed as well as two sculptures of each of the brothers at the edge of this tower.
