The Holocaust Memorial at Lands End

Description: 

The Holocaust Memorial at Lands End consists of eleven life-size sculpture of Nazi death camp victims. The impact of this memorial is to represent the struggles of the Jewish population while also serving as a reminder of the tragedy that came from World War II. Additionally, this site represents how the Jewish population in San Francisco, California was growing at a quick pace and how they rose to be a prominent part of the community and thus the memorial is a way of remembering how the Jewish population was able to make a home in the United States.
